WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion Jimmy Uso was arrested last week. Uso, real name Jonathan Solofa Fatu, and his wife, fellow WWE superstar Naomi, were in Detroit where they were pulled over after Naomi was driving the wrong direction on a one-way street.
Their 2018 Dodge Journey reeked of booze, which led to officers to ask Naomi to get out of the car. As a result, Jimmy got out of the car even though the police told him to remain in the vehicle. This was when he took off his shirt and jacket and squared up like he wanted to fight. However, after the officer took out his taser, Jimmy settled down and was handcuffed. He was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction. He was taken to jail and later posted bond.
Naomi took to Twitter today and defended her actions in the incident:
“I was NOT ticketed, I was NOT drinking, leaving the lot I was unaware that it exits to a 1 way street (it was dark snow no signs no traffic I was pulled immediately made a mistake and I own it) as for my husband he’s more of a man you’ll ever be & I’ll leave it at that #blocked”
