WWE has been the land of heel turns recently with Daniel Bryan, Nia Jax, Dean Ambrose, and Becky Lynch all turning heel just to name a few. Despite the large number of heel turns over the last few months, it looks like there’s going to be another big one on RAW.
Dave Meltzer reports that WWE had plans for Natalya to turn heel on Rousey, but those plans were delayed because of the passing of Jim Neidhart. Now that Natalya has had a few weeks to recover, WWE seems likely to act on their idea now.
“Natalya at this point was supposed to turn on Ronda but they held it back because when Jim Neidhart died they figured that they shouldn’t turn Natalya, and agreed. They probably shouldn’t have turned Natalya at that time, that wouldn’t be good. But now I think they could do that and it’d be fine.”
WWE’s got a solid two weeks before TLC to figure out how the turn will work, but next week on RAW, Natalya and Ronda Rousey are scheduled to team up against Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka which would also be a great time to do it.
