As many wrestling fans have been made aware, AEW Superstar Chris Jericho will be appearing on “The Broken Skull Sessions” podcast on April 11th on Peacock following WrestleMania 37 (Night Two). This came as a huge shock to the wrestling world with Jericho being under contract to AEW and appearing on a WWE-related program. Jericho got the go-ahead from Tony Khan to appear, as did Vince McMahon (on Austin’s behalf) to make this podcast episode happen without any conflict from either WWE or AEW.

Austin detailed how this all came about, after McMahon signed off on the idea and was cool with Jericho appearing on his show. Dave Meltzer noted that Jericho’s contract with AEW will be expiring at the end of 2022 and says Jericho has maintained a good relationship with McMahon and WWE. When Jericho’s contract does expire, Meltzer speculates that Jericho may attempt to play both sides to get the best offer possible.
