New Japan’s Invasion Attack took place earlier today in Tokyo, Japan at Ryogoku Kokugikan with 8,500 in attendance.
( 1) IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Championship: Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson)© beat El Desperado & Kota Ibushi (11:47) to retain the titles. Matt pinned Desperado after More Bang 4 Your Buck. Third successful title defense for the Bucks.
(2) Kazushi Sakuraba , Yuji Nagata & Togi Makabe beat Suzuki-Gun (Taichi, TAKA Michinoku & Minoru Suzuki) (9:39). Kazushi Sakaraba with the Sakuraba Lock on Taichi.
(3) NWA World Tag Team Championship: TenCozy (Satoshi Kojima & Hiroyoshi Tenzan) beat Jax Dane & Rob Conway© (10:36) . Tenzan pinned Dane after a moonsault press to win the titles. Satoshi Kojima now holds both the NWA World Heavyweight Championship & NWA Tag Team Championship.
(4) Rolles & Daniel Gracie beat CHAOS (Takashi Iizuka & Toru Yano) (6:56). Daniel Gracie with a Cross Knee Bar on Iizuka.
(5) Grudge Match: Ryusuke Taguchi beat Prince Devitt (12:03). with the Dodon. The Young Buck kept interfering and Devitt made it clear that he wanted a clean match. After the match The Bucks turned on Devitt which eventually lead to Devitt taking out both men. Devitt and Taguchi shook hands after the match.
(6) CHAOS (YOSHI-HASHI & Kazuchika Okada) beat Bullet Club (Tama Tonga & Bad Luck Fale) (8:43). Okada pinned Tonga after the Rainmaker. After the match AJ Styles came out and hit the Styles Clash on the IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada and revealed himself as the latest member of the Bullet Club. Styles also stated that he wants to challenge for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship
(7) NEVER Openweight Championship: Tomohiro Ishii© defeated Tetsuya Naito (17:45). Ishii with the Vertical Drop Brainbuster to Naito. This was Ishii’s first successful title defense.
(8) IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championsship: Bullet Club (Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson)© defeated Katsuyori Shibata & Hirooki Goto (18:31) to retain the titles. Gallows pinned Goto after the Magic Killer. 2nd successful title defense for the Bullet Club.
( 9) IWGP Intercontinental Championship: Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi© (26:49). With the Boma-Ye to Tanahashi. Nakamura wins the title for the 3rd time and becomes the 8th IWGP Intercontinental Champion. The Gracie’s then came out to challenge Nakamura, then Kazushi Sakuraba who is also known as the “Gracie Killer” came out and stated that he wants to be Nakamura’s partner to take on The Gracie’s.
