WWE will soon be hearing a new voice on its commentary team.
Back in mid April, PWInsider reported WWE had signed Championship Wrestling From Hollywood (CWFH) announcer Jonny Loquasto. Loquasto officially announced late Thursday night that he would be joining the broadcast team.
I’ve always believed that if u do what u love and work relentlessly at it, you’ll eventually end up where you’re supposed to be. Excited and proud to say that I’m now a member of the @WWE and @WWENXT Announce Team! pic.twitter.com/rxn1xy59GX

Loquasto is also the co-creator of a Fox Sports presented podcast “The Wrestling Compadres Slamcast”, which has seen names such as Kevin Owens, Stephanie McMahon, Bray Wyatt, and AJ Styles appear on it.
He has done a lot of work inside the world of wrestling, but outside he’s also enjoyed a career as a comedian and actor as well.
With a familiarity with the folks over at FOX Sports this move could have been done in preparation for Smackdown Live’s upcoming move to the network. There has also been talk of NXT airing on FS1 as well.
