During today’s episode of WWE NXT UK, Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter had to vacate their NXT UK Tag Team Titles after it was revealed that Ashton Smith suffered a medial cruciate ligament. The injury will require surgery.
Due to Smith’s injury, we saw an elimination match for the vacant titles. The bout featured Briggs & Jensen, Mark Andrews & Wild Boar, Dave Mastiff & Jack Starz, and Die Familie. In the end, it was Briggs & Jensen who wound up winning the match and capturing the NXT UK tag team titles.
