Daniel Garcia defeated Brody King with the help of the Jericho Appreciation Society this past week on AEW Rampage.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the original plan was for Garcia to defeat Buddy Matthews, so that the JAS could have a victory over the House of Black to continue the feud.
However, Matthews suffered an injury during last week’s AEW World Trios Title match, hence King was brought in as his replacement.
