AEW is slated to hold its Double or Nothing pay-per-view event on Sunday, May 30th at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL.
AEW President Tony Khan stated on Wednesday’s edition of Sirius XM’s Busted Open Radio the event will have a full capacity crowd, which marks the first time they’ve been able to do so in over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the decision was made after Machine Gun Kelly held a concert at the venue that had full capacity last month as it was co-promoted by the Khans.
There were no problems with the show, so the decision was made to try it for Double or Nothing.
