News On Hornswoggle, RAW, WWE’s New TV Shows In Canada?


— WWE Studios have announced via press release that they will be screening The Day on Saturday night, the night before SummerSlam. The film will screen for Regal Cinemas at L.A. Live, with Randy Orton and David Otunga introducing the film. The Miz will moderate a post-film Q&A with stars Dominic Monaghan and Ashley Bell. Axxess ticketholders get priority entry, with remaining tickets open to the public.

— Hornswoggle will be at the August 22nd Milwaukee Brewers game against the Chicago Cubs in Milwaukee to throw out the first pitch.

— The RAW taping in Nashville on October 15th is advertising a No DQ match between John Cena vs. The Big Show as the dark match main event.

— The Score is reportedly not planning on airing the new WWE Main Event show that will debut in October on ION. When asked, they said, “Right now we have no news on that particular show.”

— For Canadian fans, WWE Saturday Morning Slam will be available through The CW on a pay TV basis through American “Superstations” like WPIX, WGN and KTLA. The network is also available in some areas of Canada close to the USA border with an antenna; additionally, ION has an affiliate WPXJ in Buffalo that is available to some parts of Southern Ontario in the same way.
