Corey Graves made headlines when he tweeted about Mauro Ranallo on Saturday night and voiced his criticism about Ranallo not letting Nigel McGuiness and Beth Phoenix talk enough on the NXT TakeOver: WarGames III broadcast.
Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Graves made the tweets about Mauro as a way to play into the brand warfare element of the Survivor Series weekend.
It was noted that Graves planned to bring the tweets up in a joking manner on Sunday when he was joined by Mauro on commentary.
Graves has since apologized for his comments.
