F4Online reports that WWE wanted to do a Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair earlier this year, but the company instead postponed it so that the feud could peak at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, Florida.
It seems as if their first big match will happen place at the Royal Rumble. It was stated on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE officials believe Bayley is more over as a babyface than Sasha Banks . Vince McMahon is also not that high on Sasha for a number of reasons, so her title reign was never planned to be a long one. McMahon feels like Charlotte is the better heel and the “money program” is her vs. Bayley.
