Current WWE Champion AJ Styles is expected to drop his title soon to either John Cena or The Undertaker around the Royal Rumble or some time after, which had lead to speculation on who his WrestleMania 33 opponent will be.
According to Ringside News, Randy Orton is an early candidate being considered to face AJ Styles. It’s believed that if Orton can finish his feud with The Wyatt Family before WrestleMania season, there may be enough time to get a program between him and AJ going.
In addition, Samoa Joe is also another name that’s been considered, but it’s less likely as of this writing because it’s still unknown when he will be called up to the main roster.
