Last night WWE hosted its special SmackDown 1000 episode. While several big names appeared, a title change took place on the program as well. The Bar defeated The New Day to capture the SmackDown Live Tag Team Titles, thanks to some assistance from The Big Show, who turned heel.
Shortly after their victory, former RAW Tag Team Champion Nicholas took to Twitter and took a shot at Sheamus and Cesaro’s title win:
“Congratulations to @WWESheamus and @WWECesaro for winning the @WWE SmackDown Tag Team Titles!! #SD1000 couldn’t do it at Mania…just saying.”

At WrestleMania 34 this past April, Nicholas was Braun Strowman’s tag team partner against The Bar after being selected out of the crowd. Of course, he didn’t engage in any physicality during the match, tagging into the bout for only a few seconds before being tagged back out.
Strowman picked up the win for he and Nicholas, winning them the RAW Tag Team Titles. The following night on RAW, Strowman and Nicholas relinquished the titles.
