In a new interview with Axios, WWE President Nick Khan spoke about the company being sold.

As we previously reported here on eWn, WWE has been sold to the Endeavor Group and will merge with the UFC as a new company. The transaction is expected to be completed later this year.

During the interview, Khan was asked about the future of WWE’s partnership with Saudi Arabia following the merger.

The reason for the question is due to the previous relationship between Endeavor and Saudi Arabia ending in 2019 after the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Endeavor returned the $400 million investment to The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that the country had paid them the year before. Kahn said,

“Our relationship with The Kingdom is a terrific partnership for which we’re appreciative of, and you know, nothing in terms of anyone else’s prior experience will affect that. We think that we’ve delivered the product in the way that the Kingdom wanted it delivered. We have a multiple year agreement with them in place. We’re excited to do a show — we’ll be back there May 27 for a big premium live event.“
