NJPW has revealed the cards for the upcoming G1 Climax tournament. The winner will receive an opportunity to challenge for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 13. Just because a wrestler wins the tournament doesn’t mean that a title match in January is guaranteed as they will have to defend their title opportunity until then.
