New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced that fans will now be able to cheer at their upcoming events. The first shows they will be able to make some noise at will be Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. The events, which will have a limited capacity, take place on September 5 and 6.
In other New Japan Pro Wrestling news, the company has announced two matches for its ‘Declaration of Power’ event, which takes place on October 10 from Ryogoku Sumo Hall. They include:
* IWGP World Heavyweight Championship: Jay White (c) vs. Tama Tonga
* Kazuchika Okada vs. JONAH
Additionally, the company has announced three title matches for its ‘Burning Spirit’ event on September 25 in Kobe. You can check out the updated lineup for that show below:
* IWGP United States Championship: Will Ospreay (c) vs. David Finlay
* NEVER Openweight Championship: Karl Anderson (c) vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi
* IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Championship: TJP & Francesco Akira vs. Master Wato & Ryusuke Taguchi
* Chase Owens & Bad Luck Fale vs. Great-O-Khan & Jeff Cobb
* Tetsuya Naito & SANADA vs. Dangerous Tekkers (Zack Sabre Jr & Taichi)
And finally, New Japan Pro Wrestling will return to New York City for its ‘Rumble on 44th Street’ event on October 28. The pay-per-view event will take place at the Palladium in Times Square. The pre-sale tickets for the show immediately sold out.
The venue can hold 2,100 people. Some resellers are charging up to $1,000 per ticket on the secondary market.
