Before The IMPACT will be ending in March. The pre-show for IMPACT On AXS TV every Thursday will be scrapped starting in March to make room for the return of NJPW On AXS TV.
On Tuesday, New Japan Pro Wrestling officially announced their return to AXS TV on March 3, 2022.
The 3/3 return of NJPW on AXS TV ends a year-long run of IMPACT Wrestling’s “Before The IMPACT” pre-show on Thursday nights, as B.T.I. debuted in February of 2021.
The show featured pre-show discussion before each week’s live IMPACT On AXS TV show, as well as exclusive matches.
There is no word as of this writing regarding whether or not IMPACT Wrestling will continue with their weekly B.T.I. pre-show on their official YouTube and/or Twitch channels, or another platform.
In another quick IMPACT Wrestling note, the promotion has released new merchandise for Josh Alexander. The former X-Division Champion is featured on a new t-shirt available now at Shop IMPACT that includes his “Walking Weapon” nickname. You can order it by logging on to ShopIMPACT.com.
