David Finlay Pulled From New Japan Cup Tournament



Prior to the quarterfinals of the New Japan Cup tournament on Saturday, NJPW made the announcement that David Finlay has been pulled from the tourney.

“David Finlay, who was scheduled to participate in the Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium Tournament today, March 16th, has complained of not feeling well, and is currently undergoing tests at the hospital, so he will be absent from today’s match. .

Due to David Finley’s absence, the number of games for the March 16th Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium tournament will be changed from 8 to 7.

In addition, the quarterfinal match of the “NEW JAPAN CUP 2024” tournament, Hirooki Goto vs. David Finlay, will be a bye for Goto.
