New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced that Gabe Kidd will defend the IWGP Global Title against Hiroshi Tanahashi at NJPW Soul on July 4.
Moreover, there will be ‘Play-In’ matches for the G1 Climax 35 tournament, including Ryohei Oiwa vs. Don Fale and YOSHI-HASHI vs. Chase Owens.
The June 23rd edition of NJPW Soul will include two more G1 ‘Play-In’ matches: Tomohiro Ishii vs. Drilla Maloney and Callum Newman vs. Taichi.

NJPW has also announced that Hirooki Goto will defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Zack Sabre Jr. at NJPW Tanahashi Jam, produced by Hiroshi Tanahashi. The event will take place on June 29 at the Nagoya Congress Center in Nagoya.
