As previously noted here on eWn, Io Shirai has inked a deal with the WWE. Many hold Shirai in regards as one of the best Women’s wrestlers in the world. Unfortunately, we may not get to see that for ourselves anytime soon.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that there is no official start date for when Shirai will be making her WWE debut. Many thought that it would come as a part of the Mae Young Classic, along with her former STARDOM counterpart, Kairi Hojo, who is competing in the tournament. Shirai has to finish wrapping up her dates in the promotion, before she can head over to the WWE.
