Yesterday, it was announced that the matches previously set for NXT TakeOver: Tampa would take place on regular editions of NXT in the coming weeks.
Tonight’s episode of NXT continued that build and gave us more information. In particular, some matches were announced for next week.
- Bobby Fish will take on Velveteen Dream.
- Keith Lee will defend the North American Championship in a Triple Threat match against both Dominik Dijakovic and Damian Priest.
- Everyone who has lost a qualifying match so far will get an opportunity to earn the sixth and final spot in the NXT Women’s Championship No. 1 contender’s ladder match. It will be Aliyah vs. Dakota Kai vs. Deonna Purrazzo vs. Kayden Carter vs. Shotzi Blackheart vs. Xia Li in a Second Chance Gauntlet Match.
