On February 14, 2023, Thom Latimer captured the NWA Television Title by defeating Jordan Clearwater in an open challenge match on NWA Powerrr. This marks the end of Clearwater’s first reign as champion, which began at Hard Times 3 in November 2022.
Latimer is the sixth holder of the title and is now eligible to cash in the championship for an opportunity at the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship if he can secure seven title defenses in a row.
