NWA Powerrr coverage

NWA Pulls All Of Their Shows From YouTube, Future Plans?

In a rather mysterious turn of events, the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) has removed all its videos from their YouTube channel, including every episode of Powerrr. The company has been on hiatus since the pandemic began, despite a very brief comeback in December 2020.

Since that time, many of the NWA stars have gone on to other organizations, including Eli Drake, James Storm, Zicky Dice, Marti Belle and Royce Isaacs. Outside of some good exposure thanks to Thunder Rosa and Serena Deeb competing on AEW, not much has been said about the company’s future. NWA President Billy Corgan insists the promotion is far from being dead and he will be bringing the NWA back soon.

Furthermore, FW4Online is reporting that the reason for the removal of the YouTube videos is to lead into a big announcement from the company and is considered to be a “good thing”. Dave Meltzer said,

I was told it will be something announced in the next few days which is a good thing. Would not have to do with AEW.”

In another update from David Marquez, a representative from Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, he said,

Friends, I don’t know what’s going on with the NWA YouTube page, please stop asking. Thank you.

At this point, anyone’s guess is as good as any until further information is released regarding the status of the NWA.
