WWE has uploaded a video announcing that after losing the North American Championship to Roderick Strong, Velveteen Dream is not cleared for competition:
In other NXT injury news, Joaquin Wilde suffered an injury over the summer that requires surgery for a broken eye socket, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet.
Reportedly, doctors held off on surgery these past few weeks to see if the injury would heal on its own. They’ve since decided that surgery would be best. The injury occurred in July. Post-surgery, Wilde will, reportedly, only be out of action for a few more weeks.
