On Wednesday night’s episode of WWE NXT, we saw Kyle O’Reilly defeat Pete Dunne in a #1 Contender’s match to earn a shot at NXT Champion Finn Balor at New Year’s Evil, which is set for January 6th, 2021. This will be a rematch from NXT TakeOver XXXI, which saw Reilly and Balor battle it out for over thirty minutes.
