Welcome back everyone to the weekly NXT review. First off, they are usually posted on Thursday mornings, but my schedule would not allow me to do so, but I hope you forgive me.

Here is your link as always at http://watchwrestling.net/watch-wwe-nxt-82113/

The show was stacked and a must-watch for anyone that loves a Match of the Year candidate. Yes, Antonio Cesaro and Sami Zayn took part in a 2-out-of-3 falls match and it received praise from almost everyone on the planet.

Also, AJ Lee appeared on NXT to wrestle the adorable Bayley. Enough of the introduction and let us get into the show! By the way, Alex Riley and Tom Phillips were on commentary for the show.

Bayley vs. AJ Lee for the Divas championship

I must say that the match began with a “Hug it out!” chant. Yes, Bayley wanted to give Lee a hug and she had none of it. As for the fight, it was pretty slow and well thought out. It didn’t seem like those two worked together before.

It was probably a storyline match (Bayley’s need for a hug from Lee), but I wasn’t impressed. Eventually, Lee hit the Shining Wizard for the victory and there were no hugs given.

Backstage, Tyler Breeze continued to play his gimmick to perfection by taking more selfies. NXT newbie Lexi Kaufman was stopped by Breeze and he asked her to take a picture of him. While he posed, CJ Parker, the photo-bomber of NXT, ruined his picture. Breeze stormed off like a little girl and said, “It is ruining my life!”

Michael Zaki and Ron Hicks vs. Rick Victor and Conor O’Brien “The Ascension”

This was a classic squash match. The Ascension dominated like always. Victor and O’Brien displayed their impressive power game. These two also remind me of the Ministry of Darkness. An entrance and style such as theirs could really sell in the WWE today.

I’ve said this before; they will be extremely successful at the main event.

Next up, we saw the debut of the improved CJ Parker. He has been photo bombing for many weeks now and it is his time to display his moved.

CJ Parker vs. Baron Corbin

He also faced a jobber at NXT, so we all knew the outcome. After you watch his match, tell me if you had the sudden urge to re-visit the 1970s and well, become psychedelic. His music emulated a form of Rolling Stones or Eric Clapton. Someone help me and think of a 70s band that reminds you of Parker’s entrance music.

His match took up a few minutes. I cannot really analyze it, but he shows signs of promise.

Renee Young interviewed him after the match and he said that he found what he’s looking for. Parker is going with the flow and having a little fun. “Pump the breaks and mellow out,” Parker told Young. Just as he was talking about ruining Breeze’s pictures, Breeze comes out.

The two went back-and-forth on the mic. It was actually quite entertaining. I’m a fan of Breeze more and more.

Also, Dolph Ziggler came to show-off next! Alexander Rusev made his debut on NXT (I believe) and he came out with a wooden-board with “Ziggler” on it.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Alexander Rusev

I must say this; Rusev will be a future World Heavyweight champion. That was the first time I saw him wrestle and I could already tell. Comment below what your opinion is on Rusev. He is a big guy, agile and technical as well.

The match was great. Ziggler sold to perfection and Rusev showed the world that he could fly high. Although, Rusev did not pick up the victory, it was a strong showing for a rookie. Look for Rusev to be a part of the main roster within one year.

*Dolph Ziggler defeated Alexander Rusev by pinfall.

Sami Zayn vs. Antonio Cesaro in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match

Zayn and Cesaro could be the match of the year. There isn’t much analysis I can put on it because, I would not do it justice. Zayn did win the first fall pretty easily. However, that did not mean the match would go quickly.

It’s quite astonishing really, how incredible this match really was. I’m sitting here laughing like a schoolgirl in awe. The match was awe-inspiring and the rest of the NXT roster should have been watching and taking notes.

There was heart, soul, courage, high-flying, brute strength and incredible wrestling. You will not see action quite like this anywhere else.

If you are going to watch the show just for the match, skip ahead to the 35-minute mark on the link I provided above. The match will begin there.

*Antonio Cesaro defeated Sami Zayn by pinfall.

Well, thanks for being patient for the review. Next Thursday, we will meet again and not that it won’t top this match, but it won’t. Until then my friends, I bid you adieu.
