According to the Pro Wrestling Sheet, NXT star Hideo Itami injured his neck at an NXT live event. Sources told the Pro Wrestling Sheet that this injury could keep him out for “months”. The injury happened after Hideo took an ugly looking powerslam during a tag match on October 1st where he teamed with Shinsuke Nakamura to take on Riddick Moss and Tino Sabbatelli. Itami recently returned from a shoulder injury that kept him out of the ring for over a year. He and Kota Ibushi were announced as a team in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, but it appears he won’t be participating. Below is how the injury happened:
