NXT TakeOver: WarGames II Results – The Undisputed Era vs. War Raiders, Ricochet & Pete Dunne

The following is from our play-by-play coverage of the WWE NXT TakeOver: WarGames II event:

Ricochet and Cole start things off. Cole attacked him right out of the gate. However, Ricochet fired back with some strikes and a nice drop kick. Ricochet went for a spring board move but Cole caught him with a back breaker. Ricochet with a back elbow but Cole cut him off with a neck breaker. Cole used the cage to his advantage as this beatdown continued. They trade right hands then Ricochet hit a drop kick out of the corner. Ricochet with a springboard crossbody to Cole. This led to O’Reilly to getting into the cage and attacking Ricochet. Moments later, Ricochet attempted a comeback by landing a series of strikes but O’Reilly took out the left knee of Ricochet. Cole hit a big boot to Ricochet then hit a double team neck beaker. The beatdown continues.

Hanson stopped Dune from coming out of the cage and ran in to make the save. Hanson attacked Cole and O’Reilly with a series of strikes and slams. Ricochet hit a shooting star press off the back of Hanson onto O’Reilly. Ricochet took out Kyle with a clothesline while Cole took out Hanson with a slam. Strong ran down to the ring as the next person in the cage and attacked Ricochet and Hanson. Strong with a drop kick to Ricochet then a series of running knees to both faces. Strong with a series of back breakers to Ricochet.

Cole with a big boot to Hanson then Strong with an Angle Slam. Next up is Roee who went right at the heels with a series of shoulder blocks. Rowe with a gut buster to Kyle then a running knee strike to Cole. He landed a series of strong to Strong then broke out of a headlock applied by Kyle. Rowan with a heavy handed slam to Cole. Rowe powerbombed Strong and slammed Kyle at the same time. Impressive. Hanson sent Kyle head first into the cage. Hanson and Rowe went straight for Cole who was surrounded. They sent him into the cage head first. Fish is up next and attacked Dunne then locked the shark tank with his padlock and took the key and threw it into the crowd. Fish would then grab a series of chairs into the ring. The heels started hitting the faces with chairs as the beatdown continues. They sent Hanson head first into the steel.

Dunne is now able to join the match but locked in the cage by a lock. Dunne was able to escape out of his shark cage and got down to the ring where he brought in a series of weapons. Hanson took out Kyle with a big boot then put a trash can over Cole and they smashed him with it. After several big spots, Dunne was able to lock in the knee bar on Fish until Kyle broke it up with a chain.

Kyle wrapped the chain around the ankle of Dunne while applying a half crab in the meantime, the heels backed the rest of the faces off with chairs in the other ring. Ricochet took them out with a dive and broke up the submission. Ricochet and Dune hit a slam to Fish and Kyle off the top rope. Hanson put Cole on a table, which half of it collapsed by pure weight. Rowe and Hanson with a double team powerslam. Fish speared Rowe through the table. Cole and Ricochet battled up on the top rope. Kyle had Ricochet in a submission on the table until Hanson took him out with a dive off the top rope through the table for 2. Cole and Ricochet battled on top of the cage. They did a spot with everyone being tossed off the top rope. Ricochet was the only one still on top of the cage and he decided to jump off the cage onto everyone.

Fish has a kick blocked by Rowe and Rowe with a knee to the head.  They set for Fallout and hit it on Fish. Kyle breaks up the cover and Strong with a flying boot to Rowe.  Hanson with a handspring double back elbow to Strong and Kyle. Cole with a super kick.

Ricochet with a double jump attempt into a super kick.  Dunne goes for Bitter End and Cole with a DDT. Cole with a shoulder breaker and Last Shot on Dunne for a near fall.  Cole misses Last Shot and Dunne with Butter End and Ricochet with a splash for the three count.

Winners:  Ricochet, War Raiders, and Pete Dunne
