On Tuesday night’s WWE NXT New Year’s Evil special event, we saw a title unification match take place as NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes defeated NXT Cruiserweight Champion Roderick Strong via pinfall to unify the titles and seemingly end the Cruiserweight division altogether.
