According to a report from Squared Circle Sirens, WWE NXT Superstar Kavita Devi suffered a torn ACL in her knee and will undergo surgery this Thursday, August 15th. Devi last worked a WWE match at the NXT live event in Jacksonville, Florida on July 26th. During that show, she teamed with Jessi Kamea against Deonna Purrazzo and Rachael Evers.
Devi hasn’t addressed the injury on social media as of this writing. Her last post was on July 29th and was a positive one.
For those unaware, Devi is the first Indian-born female Superstar in the WWE. She has also competed in the Mae Young Classic twice and was also featured in the women’s battle royal at WrestleMania 34.
