AEW wrestler Nyla Rose recently appeared on The Team 980AM to discuss being paired up with Vickie Guerreo in All Elite Wrestling, Marina Shafir recently joining them, and more.

On being paired up with Guerrero: “Oh, it’s fantastic. All my career — well, I shouldn’t say all of it. A majority of my career, I was a solo act. Occasionally I would tag with various partners… but for the most part, it was just me by myself. So getting paired up with a legend like Vickie Guerrero, first of all blew my mind. The fact that she herself wanted to work with me, [I was] like, ‘Who am I?’ Like, ‘I’m on the come up. I want to work with you too, let’s make this happen.’ And we did. But yeah, it’s been absolutely amazing to have someone there to bounce ideas off of, and someone who’s just as eager and crazy as myself, who almost never says no to anything.”
On Shafir joining them: “Marina Shafir, we just added her to the mix, and she’s very quiet and kind of creepy in a very violent way that I love. So I was like, ‘Vickie, we need her on our side. I don’t wanna run into that on the way to catering, I need her having our back.’”
