Survival of the Fittest Tournament Match, Round One:
Flamita vs. Rey Horus
After the break-up of ROH’s MexiSquad stable, Rey Horus and Flamita will be facing off in the opening contest of ROH’s Survival of the Fittest tournament. The winner of this tournament will move on to round two (and the winner of the tournament will be awarded an ROH World Championship match.) This is an extension of a rivalry that has brewed since the MexiSquad failed to capture the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship from Shane Taylor Promotions. Will this finally settle things between the luchadors? Probably not, but it’s time for some incredible Lucha action!
Pure Rules Match:
Silas Young vs. Josh Woods
After establishing a relationship as mentor and mentee, Josh Woods and Silas Young are two grizzled wrestlers seeking to leave the arena better than the other man. After Silas Young turned on Josh Woods at the ROH 19th Anniversary show, Young would go on to pick up a victory over Woods at ROH Wrestling #504. This week, we get a grudge match between “The Last Real Man” and “The Goods” Josh Woods.
