As we saw Wednesday night on AEW Dynamite, Miro defeated Orange Cassidy to advance to the finals of the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament and will now go on to face Bryan Danielson at AEW’s Full Gear pay-per-view event in the tournament finals. The match was originally supposed to be Jon Moxley vs. Orange Cassidy, but due to Moxley placing himself in an inpatient alcohol rehabilitation facility, changes had to be made and Miro was brought in as a last second replacement.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Moxley was originally set to defeat Orange Cassidy and challenge Bryan Danielson at Full Gear.
