United States Champion Samoa Joe was not on last night’s (Mon. April 15, 2019) episode of Monday Night RAW. The current SmackDown Live star was apparently scheduled to make the switch to RAW last night, however, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, an illness prevented Joe from making the show.

As a result, the segment originally written for Joe was nixed. With Joe moving to RAW, this means that Finn Balor would likely be making the move to the blue brand along with the Intercontinental Championship. It remains to be seen if that swap will still be made after last night.

Tonight (Tues. April 16, 2019) Vince McMahon is scheduled to announce the “biggest acquisition in SmackDown Live history.” While that’s unlikely to be Balor, it’s possible that names like Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, or even Seth Rollins and the Universal Championship could be making the move to Tuesday nights.

Keep it locked with us throughout the night for our continued Superstar Shake-Up coverage.
