— The second week of NBC’s Stars & Stripes dropped 35% Monday night, scoring a 1.1 rating among adults 18-49 rating. The debut scored a 1.7 in the same timeslot. These are not good ratings, especially for NBC. It’s very possible the show will be cancelled in the near future. WWE’s Eve Torres appears on the show.

— WWE had planned at one point for The Primetime Players, Titus O’Neil and Darren Young, to win the tag titles from Kofi Kingston and R-Truth at WWE’s SummerSlam pay-per-view. The plan was obviously scrapped but the duo is still expected to get a run with the belts in the future.

— WWE announcer Michael Cole commented on CM Punk’s attack on Jerry Lawler on RAW through his Twitter account. He wrote: “I don’t agree with what @jerrylawler says most of the time, but @cmpunk kicking him in the head because he offered an “opinion” was wrong! The gms must take action! Superstars assaulting us for doing our job is a bad precedent. @wwejoshmathews and @jerrylawler need to complain!”

Gridiron Gang, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, will air on MTV this Sunday at 1:23 p.m.
