Paul Heyman took to Twitter earlier today, praising WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and thanking him for rescuing him. He said,
“EXACTLY 1 YEAR AGO, I was rescued by @wweromanreigns. In the 52 weeks that have transpired since then, the #TribalChief has redefined the medium, disrupted the status quo and titled the axis of what it means to be THEE top superstar in @WWE…and we’ve only just begun!”
As many of you saw at SummerSlam, Roman Reigns successfully defeated John Cena to retain the WWE Universal title. Following the match, Brock Lesnar came out and had a face-to-face with Roman Reigns. As of now, Lesnar is expected to be the babyface in the feud.
