Someone like “The Tribal Chief” may be able to beat COVID-19, but karma is a whole different ball game.

Paul Heyman made this point clear when addressing WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the opening segment of the post-WWE Day 1 edition of Monday Night Raw.

The first installment of the weekly three-hour red brand program kicked off inside Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina on Monday evening with Paul Heyman in the ring for a promo segment.

Heyman would be joined by the new WWE Champion Brock Lesnar during the segment, where he would go on to inform the WWE Universe that he was responsible for negotiating the deal that saw “The Beast Incarnate” get added to the WWE Championship Fatal-5-Way match.

According to the advocate for Lesnar, he secured the agreement that led to him joining the WWE title match at the show held at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA. on Saturday night, immediately after it was discovered that Roman Reigns had tested positive for the Coronavirus and would not be able to compete at WWE Day 1 as scheduled just one-hour before the Kickoff Show for the inaugural pay-per-view event went live.

As he continued, he shared his belief that without his guidance and special council, “The Head of the Table” and leader of The Bloodline will now be vulnerable on Friday Night SmackDown. He also pointed out how it was only a week after Reigns fired him that he would test positive for COVID-19, noting, “You can beat the ‘rona, but karma can be a little b*tchy!”

From there, the new WWE Champion Brock Lesnar delivered a message directly to Reigns. He claimed to know for a fact Reigns was watching Raw live to see the “real champion,” closing by sarcastically saying, “Get well soon, buddy!”
