Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that multiple people in WWE including in-ring talent that have been at the Performance Center tested positive for COVID-19 this week.
Per the report, there’s no word yet on when they were tested exactly, or how many of them were for wrestlers, but at least three people received positive test results this week.
It was noted that more testing will now be done by WWE’s medical team before Friday and Saturday’s TV production to make sure the virus has not spread amongst talent/behind the scenes workers.
Just last week it was reported that a developmental talent, who worked as a fan two weeks ago, tested positive for COVID-19 causing production to shut down for a day last week.
As of this writing, there’s no word yet on if these results are related to that round of testing or if additional testing was done.
