Ex-WWE Superstar Percy Watson believes that the promotion is safe in the hands of Triple H.
The Game took over as Head of Creative following the retirement of Vince McMahon and has replaced John Laurinaitis as Head of Talent Relations.
Watson, who was with WWE from 2009 to 2013 and later from 2016 to 2019, spoke to Sportskeeda about the Game’s work so far.
“Do I think WWE is in safe hands with Triple H? Yeah, absolutely. I mean, this guy’s been in the game forever, and he’s learned directly under Vince for like, a number of decades. He’s always been a part of creative, you know, especially with NXT. NXT became really, really popular, really, really quick. So, to answer your question, absolutely, I don’t see why not.”
Watson’s last match for WWE was in April 2013, but when asked, said he isn’t counting out a return as part of a Royal Rumble match.
“I’ve kept all my contacts in WWE, a lot of the guys I still talk to relatively consistently. We’ll just have to see what the future holds. I’m into a number of different things now. But to answer your question [about a return at the Royal Rumble] that is not completely off the table.”
