Pete Dunne is no longer Pete Dunne.
During Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, the WWE NXT 2.0 Superstar made his debut under the ring name of “Butch”.
In a backstage segment, “Butch” was introduced by Sheamus and Ridge Holland as an ally prior to their match with Big E. and Kofi Kingston. Sheamus and Holland revealed that they brought along a friend. They did note that while some people know him by a different name, he is known to them as simply “Butch”.
Dunne was at ringside with Holland and Sheamus for their match against The New Day, which they won. “Butch” wound up attacking Kofi Kingston following the match.
