While Lana and Asuka were originally set to face Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler for the WWE tag-team championships at TLC, Lana was written out on RAW. Peyton Royce took to Twitter today, campaigning to be Asuka’s tag-team partner. She said,
“Hello @WWEAsuka. I know you need a tag team partner on Sunday. I know you know I can go. Sincerely, former Women’s Tag Team Champion, Relentless Royce. #WWETLC.”
Asuka replied to her tweet, saying, “Let’s do it together.”
