Is Dwayne Johnson destined to become WWE Universal Champion? The creators of Young Rock certainly believe so.
NBC’s Young Rock details the Brahma Bull’s life and rise to superstardom, with the show’s premise being that Johnson is reflecting on his past.
In a scene that takes place ten years in the future, Johnson walks past some of the many titles he won throughout his wrestling career, including the WWE Universal title.
The Rock is rumored to face his cousin and reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 next year.
It was reported last week that some in WWE are discussing The Rock winning the Men’s 2023 Royal Rumble match to earn the title opportunity against the Tribal Chief.
