On this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, we saw a 1,000 Day Championship Celebration for Roman Reigns. As expected, a new title belt was introduced.
In the main event segment that lasted nearly 30 minutes, Triple H came out to the ring to present Reigns with a new championship belt. The new belt is still being called the “Undisputed WWE Universal Championship” and will be replacing the two belts Reigns has been carrying around.
After Triple H put the belt around Reigns’ waist, the Tribal Chief called for the WWE Universe to acknowledge him. This led to The Usos coming out to confront their leader.
After a back-and-forth between Jimmy and Roman, the latter told Jey to superkick his brother to fix the situation. Jey hesitated and Jimmy said there was no fixing anything due to the fact that Reigns is losing it these days.
Reigns then told Solo Sikoa to tell the Usos who his allegiance was with, which resulted in Sokoa saying that while he acknowledges Reigns, the Usos are his brothers.
Jimmy and Roman then got into it again, with Jimmy pie-facing Reigns. Jey wound up calming things down. After Jimmy and Reigns hugged it out and all appeared well within The Bloodline, Sikoa drilled Jimmy with the Samoan Spike and left with Reigns.
