Raw’s Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, won’t be defending his championship at Raw’s April PPV, Payback, which will take place on April 30th. Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that a #1 contender match between Roman Reigns and Braun Stowman is the current plan for the main event for the show. It is also being said that Stowman will win that match and will face Lesnar at either Extreme Rules in June or whatever Raw’s July PPV will be. However, other names such as Finn Balor are rumored for the match so that Reigns doesn’t have to eat a pin.
