UPDATE: Here are several additional news, notes and possible **SPOILERS** for this week’s WWE “Superstar Shakeup”. As noted, the “draft” will take place on both the RAW and SmackDown Live! broadcasts this week.
There have been talks in recent weeks regarding the possibility of reuniting AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson (The Bullet Club). There were discussions several weeks ago regarding Gallows and Anderson moving to SmackDown. If they went that route, AJ Styles would likely stay on SmackDown Live! where he’s currently at. The other scenario would be for AJ Styles to move to RAW and keep Gallows and Anderson where they are at.
The New Day are rumored to be moving to the SmackDown Live! brand and will be pushed as one of the top tag-teams.
ORIGINAL: The following news, notes and possible **SPOILERS** have been revealed for this week’s WWE “Superstar Shakeup”. The “draft” will take place on both the RAW and SmackDown Live! broadcasts this week.
AJ Styles is still “very likely” to move to the RAW brand.
There have been mixed responses among WWE officials regarding the previous talks of moving Roman Reigns to the SmackDown brand. The plan as of last week was for Reigns to face Braun Strowman at the WWE Payback pay-per-view later this month. While the idea for the “Superstar Shakeup” was set up several months ago, the names that have talked about for the moves have only come up in the past week or so. With that being said, several current storylines might be affected.
Also, the two top women for the RAW and SmackDown brands are expected to be moved. According to sources, Charlotte and Alexa Bliss are “pretty much confirmed” to switch brands. There have also been talks about Sasha Banks moving to the SmackDown brand. The Sasha Banks move to SmackDown has reportedly been “very strongly talked about.”
