— Awesome Kong returned on iMPACT’s Destination America debut, coming down to the ring after a Knockouts Title battle royal. Havok attacked Teryn Terrell (who retained the belt) after the match until the lights went out. When they came back on Kong was in the ring and had a staredown with Havok.
This is Kong’s first appearance in TNA since she left the company following a backstage altercation with Bubba the Love Sponge. She then went to WWE where she had the name of Kharma, but became pregnant shortly after her debut and had to take time off. She returned in the 2012 Royal Rumble match but was released that July, not having returned to the ring since the Rumble.
— Two titles also changed hands on iMPACT!. Austin Aries defeated Low Ki to become the new TNA X-Division Champion for the sixth time, while Bobby Lashley defeated Booby Roode to win the TNA World Title. Lashley’s win came after MVP, Kenny King and a masked Samoa Joe and Low Ki came down to interfere. Eric Young returned and looked to even the odds but then turned heel and helped cost Roode the title.
