According to a recent report, Evolution’s Batista will finally be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of this year’s class.
In 2020, the Animal was named as part of that year’s class but chose to postpone his induction due to circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic and no fans being in attendance.
The 2020 and 2021 classes were inducted together the following year, with the 2022 Hall of Fame class being headlined by The Undertaker last year.
According to Wrestling News Premium, Batista will be the headline act for this year’s Hall of Fame ceremony.
Debuting on WWE’s main roster in 2002, Batista is a six-time WWE World Champion, a three-time Tag Team Champion, and a two-time Royal Rumble winner.
Away from the ring, the Animal has become a star in Hollywood, being part of several major franchises including James Bond (Spectre, 2015), and as Drax the Destroyer in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
