On Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Powerhouse Hobbs defeated Wardlow to win the TNT Championship in a ‘Last Man Standing’ match. This marks Hobbs’ first title win in All Elite Wrestling, ending Wardlow’s second TNT Championship reign at just 4 days.
Wardlow had defeated Samoa Joe at AEW Revolution on Sunday to regain the title.
The ending of AEW Dynamite saw QT Marshall make his way out to the stage to attack Wardlow with a steel chair, followed by a low blow. Hobbs & QT then proceeded to powerbomb Wardlow through a table, who failed to answer the referee’s count.
