Subculture to take on Conners and Jinny, Wolfgang to throw down with Gradwell on NXT UK
On a thrilling edition of NXT UK, Flash Morgan Webster and Dani Luna of Subculture will pair up for a highly anticipated clash with Joseph Conners and Jinny, while Wolfgang and Sam Gradwell are set for a slugfest.
Ever since Webster, Luna and Mark Andrews joined forces to form Subculture, they’ve been champing at the bit to make an impact in NXT UK, and they’ll get the opportunity against a pair of established veterans.
Conners and Jinny have had their ups and downs since forming an alliance of their own, but the self-described “sophisticated” Superstars have made no bones about the fact that they look down their noses at the likes of Subculture, which should make for a volatile matchup.
Additionally, having recently been at odds with everyone from Ilja Dragunov to Trent Seven, Gradwell has been in a foul mood and seems willing to fight just about anyone.
Case in point, he’ll tangle with Wolfgang this week in a bout that seems more likely to resemble a lawless brawl than a wrestling match.
After losing the NXT UK Tag Team Titles alongside Mark Coffey, Wolfgang joined the rest of Gallus recently as they returned to their hometown in hopes of “getting back to basics.” Will the strategy pay dividends when The Last King of Scotland trades haymakers with Gradwell this week?
Plus, former NXT Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Devlin will join Noam Dar on the latest edition of “Supernova Sessions,” Danny Jones will collide with Kenny Williams, and Nathan Frazer is primed to tangle with Rohan Raja.
