Wolfgang to clash with Dar in tournament finale on NXT UK
A can’t-miss edition of NXT UK will be highlighted by Wolfgang and Noam Dar colliding in the NXT UK Heritage Cup No. 1 Contender’s Tournament Final for the right to challenge Tyler Bate, Mark Andrews taking on Sam Gradwell, and Emilia McKenzie slugging it out with Jinny.
The Last King of Ireland endured an arduous climb to the tournament finale, outslugging Gradwell and Teoman in the quarterfinals and semifinals, respectively.
Though he often resorted to questionable tactics, Dar also persevered for a hard-earned victory against Mark Andrews in the quarterfinals before edging Kenny Williams in the semifinals.
And while they’re two of the most established Superstars on the brand, Wolfgang and Dar have yet to share the ring for a match of any kind. What will happen in their highly anticipated scrap for the right to challenge Bate?
Plus, after a heated backstage altercation that saw Jinny confront McKenzie during her training session with NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura, the two will look to settle their issues in the ring.
And Gradwell, who has insisted that he should be considered one of the “founding fathers of NXT UK,” will look to continue his crusade for respect when he throws down with Subculture’s Mark Andrews.
